The Underground Symposium of Electronic Art (USEA)–the spiciest symposium of electronic art–seeks low-fi-ing artists to populate the skies, screens, and spaces of Albuquerque. Other Symposia of Electronic Art too International? Gone rogue with no place to go? Team up with local DIYers to scavenge radio waves, screen time, gallery space, lamp posts, walls, public outlets, street corners, and other possibilities for no-budget/at-all-costs artwork.

A symposium about quality in an age of visual overload
While museums are developing strategies to digitalise their collections, online cultural production is growing steadily, with hundreds of thousands of new images posted each day. A lot of potentially interesting work is being produced online, which never reaches the physical world.
