"8 bit game people"
A new global wave is washing up the electronic music scene. It is the 8 Bit culture, that started in Sweden, has invaded the USA and UK, and now arrives to Latin America to change the concepts of game sonority. The new generation of musicians is modifying Nintendo and Gameboy hardware to create high- level electronic music with live performances. That music, which has already conquered the Japanese, will be presented for the first time in Brazil, at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de
Janeiro, on November 23, at 7 p.m.

From old Nintendo and Game Boy consoles, these young artists produce a superhigh quality sound, super elaborated, not only sampling and mixing the games' songs, but manipulating live and in a virtuoso way the gameconsoles, transforming them into real musical instruments. In their presentations, the frontiers between DJs and VJ's are blurred. They make us forget our references from performances of electronic music and offer new airs in this scene. It is worth conferring what these young artists are producing, and FILE Hipersonica once more puts at anyone's reach, in a free event, the latest expressions of global music.
